Heart attack risks
As an emergency nurse I see heaps of heart attacks ie Myocardial infarcts and strokes. Many are avoidable through simple lifestyle changes. Modifiable risk factors include smoking, obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes (mature onset), high alcohol intake, lack of exercise. The risk factors you can't change are gender, sex, family history. So please do start TODAY to reduce these risks, start an exercise program...30minutes three times a week (check with Dr first) .a sensible eating plan.. cut out the cigarettes, reduce alcohol--any one (or more) of these is an excellent start. If you do experience chest pains and are not allergic to aspirin -take an aspirin and call for help. check out my video on you tube www.youtube.com/jonlyn11
